Since March 2020, we have maintained our employment of over 150 artists despite the dramatic shift within our industry. We have also taken on 3 Associate Artists, 6 Emerging Artists (for digital work) and we currently have five students/graduates on placement with the company.

In Nov 2016 Sinéad started her career as a freelance stage manager and luck/ karma/ good fortune/ coincidence led her straight to Big Telly Theatre Company. Since then she has worked with numerous theatre companies and production teams across the UK and Ireland but has consistently worked alongside the Big Telly team to stage manage their performances, games and most recently digital theatre. Sinéad is really interested in innovative work that allows her to learn new skills and inspires her to stay creative. She is a huge fan of the work Big Telly creates and is absolutely delighted to now be one of the Artistic Associates of the company.
Nicky Harley

Nicky Harley

Associate Artist

Nicky Harley is an actor and theatre maker originally from Derry and now living in Belfast. She is a regular on stages across the UK and Ireland, also performing for TV and radio. More recently she has adapted her practice to online production, becoming the first recipient of 'Best Individual Performance' for her portrayal of Lady Macbeth at the online Red Curtain International Festival.
Latest works have included: Macbeth (Big Telly Theatre Co) Blink (Tinderbox Theatre Co) Alice: A Virtual Themepark (Creation Theatre) The Dogs in the Street (BBC Radio4) Denouement (The Lyric Theatre/ Traverse Theatre)

A drama graduate of University of Ulster she has further trained under practitioners Philippe Gaulier, Joe Dieffenbacher, Mooky Cornish, Patsy Rodenburgh, John Wright and Fiona Shaw.
Nicky is represented by The Production Exchange Management.

CHRIS

Chris Robinson

Associate Artist

Chris is an Actor, Writer and Director who has worked in the industry for over twenty years. During that time he has worked all over the world and in Theatre, TV and Film. It is this variety that has helped him stay open and playful in his work and most importantly that has drawn him to the work of Big Telly.
Some career highlights include: Brendan At The Chelsea ( Lyric Theatre & Off- Broadway), Carthaginians (Irish Tour), Over The Bridge (Finborough, London), Bouncers (Big Telly/ MAC) and The Tempest (Creation Theatre, Oxford)
Chris’ latest short play, Duet For One, will soon be released as part of the On The Street Where We Live audio series (MAC ,Belfast)
He has worked with Big Telly on stage, in games and online and is really delighted to now be an Associate Artist with the company. Their work is exciting and they push boundaries but always keep their audience at the heart of everything that they do. This is how it should always be.
